"Defenders of Democracy Day"
Open Event to Veterans and Service Members in recognition and appreciation of their many contributions and personal sacrifices in the defense of Americans’ freedoms and liberties, the Minnesota History Center (MHS) will open exclusively and at no-charge to veterans, service members, and their families on Monday, May 12. The “Defenders of Democracy Day” is sponsored by Baker, Wadd & Williams law firm and the American Legion Department of Minnesota.

Golf Tournamnet 21 May 21 2008
Tee it up for the Troops in Minnesota May 21, 2008 at the Wilds. All proceeds are going to fund Welcome Home event next June 2009. The cost for hole sponsors is $1000., this includes golf for 4, representative signage on a tee, logo on a large banner and in the days program, shirt for each participant, lunch and after golf buffet. $150 golfer, lunch and after golf buffet. Retiree Appreciation Day
Friday August 22, 2008 The Twin Cities Area Army Retiree Council, Ft. McCoy, will be holding its Retiree Appreciation Day (RAD) at the Rosemount Community Center and National Guard Armory, 13865 South Robert Trail, Rosemount, Minnesota 55068. Registration is required.
The day’s program will include subjects of interest to the military retiree . . . MOAA, DFAS, VA Medical Center, State and federal legislation updates, Delta Dental, TRICARE and more.
